Introducing the AI Workshop Series, presented by the UB Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership in collaboration with the UB Center for AI Business Innovation!

    Our AI Workshop Series is designed for business owners and entrepreneurs who want to move beyond the hype and start using artificial intelligence in practical ways. This four-part, hands-on series explores key areas where AI can support and streamline your business, from operations to marketing and team management. Each workshop focuses on a different topic and provides real-world examples and tools you can begin using right away.


    Participants may register for individual workshops based on their interests or attend the full series. Each session stands on its own, so you can choose the sessions most relevant to your business. Participants who attend multiple sessions will gain a broader understanding of how AI can be applied across different areas of their organization.

    All workshops are from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

    Workshop 1: June 2 
    AI: From Experimentation to Transformation led by Dominic Sellitto, assistant faculty director of the Center for AI Business Innovation

    AI for Small Business Marketing led by Celine Krzan, clinical assistant professor of entrepreneurship in the UB School of Management

    Marketing budgets are tight and expectations are high. In this hands-on workshop, you'll discover how AI can help you craft sharper messaging, personalize outreach at scale and automate campaigns so you can compete smarter without adding headcount. Walk away with real tools and strategies you can put to work immediately.
     

    Workshop 3: June 16
    Simplify HR with AI: Build Practical Tools to Support Your Teams led by Gian Martinelli, senior manager of associate digital enablement at Rich Products Corporation

    HR is essential to running a business. Doing it well takes real time and effort. This interactive workshop shows how AI can simplify everyday HR work. Participants will explore practical, real‑world HR use cases, learn responsible ways to apply AI and build ready‑to‑use tools to better support their teams and reduce day‑to‑day complexity.
     

    Workshop 4: June 23
    Building Agents to Automate Routine Tasks led by Celine Krzan, clinical assistant professor of entrepreneurship in the UB School of Management

    The most successful entrepreneurs aren't doing everything themselves, they're building systems that work for them. In this workshop, you'll walk through real-world use cases that show exactly how AI agents and the latest AI tools can take repetitive tasks off your plate and give you back time to focus on what actually grows your business. No technical background required.
